We were approached by a health practitioner, who had heard about our work in the field, and presented the challenge of increasing his number of new patients through Google Adwords and SEO.

We are talking specifically about a Chiropractor with two locations in the Netherlands. Now, the SEO side of things will focus on sharing knowledge and establishing the client as an expert in the field. This will lead to long term results coming from organic traffic. Think of people that are searching Google for certain symptoms, questions and general information. When we talk about Google Ads we are looking to pick the low hanging fruits: people that are looking to solve a problem which chiropractic can help for or even literally looking for a “chiropractor”.
The first step is to make sure the website is user friendly and optimized as this the place we are sending people to. If they don’t find what they need or don’t like the feeling emanating from it they will leave. Each click on the advertisement costs money so its important to get the right people to click.
In this particular case, we found the site to be just right for the job so we got to work! We created search ads that targeted people in and around the locations of the clinics. After creating the first ads it is a question of continuously optimizing them for the keywords that are found to be most relevant and effective. One of the ways in which we do this is recurring A/B testing on different audience groups. Combining this with a well thought bidding strategy leads to a good return on investment.
